Gestern fand der zweite BLASENSTEIN TRAIL in Sankt Thomas am Blasenstein statt.. Letztes Jahr gewannen wir zu dritt die Mixed-Staffel ? da musste ich nur 4 Kilometer laufen.. Heuer lief ich die lange Strecke mit 11,8 Kilometern und 420 Höhenmeter alleine und kam nach 51 Minuten und 8 Sekunden überglücklich als 2. von über 100 Teilnehmern ins Ziel.. DANKE an meinen Sponsor GZ PILZ, der nicht nur den Lauf sondern auch mich schon jahrelang toll unterstützt ? wäre ich nicht mitgelaufen, dann wäre ich schon am Freitag nach Israel geflogen..

Seit Samstag in der Früh ist in Israel der Krieg ausgebrochen, deshalb wurde das EPIC ISRAEL Etappenrennen, mein Flieger wäre heute um 15 Uhr in Wien weggeflogen, abgesagt.. Traurig, dass man im Jahr 2023 Probleme noch mit Krieg zu lösen versucht..

Für mich bedeutet es, dass nicht nach 48 Radrennen die Saison endet, sondern schon jetzt nach ?nur? 44 in Spanien, Südafrika, Brasilien, Italien, Frankreich und Österreich.. :)

In den nächsten Tagen / Wochen habe ich nun einige Termine mit meinen Sponsoren und danach werde ich wieder voll motiviert in die nächste Saison starten!!

Yesterday the second BLASENSTEIN TRAIL took place in Sankt Thomas am Blasestein. Last year the three of us won the mixed relay - I only had to run 4 kilometers. This year I ran the long route of 11.8 kilometers and 420 meters in altitude alone After 51 minutes and 8 seconds, I was overjoyed and crossed the finish line in 2nd place out of over 100 participants. THANKS to my sponsor GZ PILZ, who has not only supported the run but also me for years - if I hadn't run, I would already be on Friday flew to Israel...

War has broken out in Israel since Saturday morning, which is why the EPIC ISRAEL stage race, my plane would have left Vienna at 3 p.m. today, was canceled. It's sad that in 2023 people are still trying to solve problems with war.

For me it means that the season doesn't end after 48 cycling races, but after "only" 44 in Spain, South Africa, Brazil, Italy, France and Austria.. :)
